Lubec’s Light Houses are: West Quoddy Head Light House, Lubec Channel Light House, and Mulholland Light House.
The latter two are those featured on this page. West Quoddy Head Light House has a page dedicated solely to it. Lubec is
a beautiful coastal town. When we visited, the air was fresh and filled with the fragrances of summer. On our approach to
Lubec, we noticed the fields of flowers everywhere. On the way to West Quoddy Head, there were fields of lupines,
possibly Maine’s most famous flower. And when we crossed over the bridge to Campobello Island, there were fields
filled with the color of lupines and wildflowers. And many homes kept their own flower gardens, filling the air with their
fragrance. If you ever get a chance, visit Lubec and experience the light houses, flowers, and fragrances of a Maine
summer day for yourself.
