| This Maine beach is near the Portland area and is part of Crescent Beach State Park. This is a great little Maine beach. Not far from Portland, this Maine beach is an easy day trip if your Maine vacation is primarily in the Portland area. This Maine beach is also near Fort Williams park where the Portland Head Light is located. This area of the Maine coast is very scenic. You can relax and take in the fresh summer air and enjoy the sound of the tide as it strikes the rocky ledges. The smell of the fresh ocean air is invigorating. We love just hanging out in this area and relaxing. The rhythm of the tide and the sounds and smells of the ocean are to die for. |
