lasts an eternity. And then just when you begin to wonder how much longer it can be, you come
upon the entry to the light house parking lot. As you park the car, the light house featured on the
Maine state quarter stands boldly in front of you. And as you walk onto the grounds and
approach the light house, you are met with the stunning view of the craggy point over which it
stands guard. The impact of this awesome Maine scene is awe-inspiring. You stand there,
stunned by what you are seeing, as the fresh ocean air soothes the soul. And then you can't
help but climb on the rocks below. Like a kid, you just have to explore them. This digital photo
was taken on the rocks just below the light house. And obviously, this summer day was a
patented Maine beauty.
